About TOEFL

TOEFL, or the “Test of English as a Foreign Language,” is managed by ETS and assesses English proficiency in reading, speaking, listening, writing, and comprehension. Widely recognized worldwide, it’s accepted by over 1,100 institutions and various organizations. In Canada, TOEFL iBT has gained approval for the Student Direct Stream program, offering a fast-track study permit process for international students enrolling in designated learning institutions (DLIs). TOEFL iBT is considered the primary benchmark for assessing academic English proficiency, making it a preferred choice for educational validation. Its broad recognition spans across 150+ countries renowned for international education excellence. Students aiming to study abroad in countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia find TOEFL scores invaluable. It serves as a pivotal asset for non-native English speakers seeking to showcase their language skills.
